Webinar: Linux Workload Performance on z15 and LinuxONE III
Join us for our webinar on June 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM EDT / 5:00-6:15 PM CET!
Abstract
The latest generation of IBM LinuxONE III (IBM z15) introduces more compute resources, more memory, new I/O cards, new hardware accelerators and more as compared to its predecessor (IBM z14). The focus of this talk is the performance investigation of real-world, end-to-end Linux workloads on IBM LinuxONE III profiting from these new features. The attendees will understand the business-needs, optimal deployment/configuration and competitive performance impact of these features while executing enterprise-level workloads (like databases, webservers, virtual machines, impact of encryption and others), and compare the performance of z15 to x86 servers.
